hello, my name is KIMMIE. i am SEVENTEEN years young and i consider myself a(n) INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through PROBOARDS SUPPORT. so, here's an example of my average post:
when he was sixteen or so, tripp was told he could surely pass for a twenty-one year old. he was tall at the time too, with the fresh youth growing across his chin. it was then that he was persuaded to take part in one of those illegal identities, that lied and told those who had seen it that he was twenty-one. he often used it, on those days that his good friends were working. then he would leisurely show them every time his identity, and every time they would laugh about it. tripp wasn’t what you called a alcoholic. he enjoyed the taste. however, it was more for the social experiment. each time that he would find himself at the bar, he would meet even the most extraordinary characters. the last man that he met at the bar was heedlessly passing through with no motive to where his life would go from there. his name was charlie, was twenty-six, and was a vietnam veteran already. in combat he was injured, and given a purple heart for his valiant efforts in the war. when he spoke to the gentlemen, he was all about ending the war just like the hippies. a genius he was too, with stories of such a jungle thick with life and death.
this time around, he found that he would unquestionably meet a unfamiliar face, or assuredly make conversations with his friends working as bartenders. he yearned often after long hours of working to just ditch and hit the bar. he never got too intoxicated.
it was after a short shift, that he decided he had nothing better to do then go to the bar. it was a few blocks away from the main street in which he worked at. nonchalantly parking his ‘67 thunderbird just behind the tall brick building on a gravel road. from the sight of the few cars, he quickly observed there probably wasn’t much business going on. he strolled in through the back door, as he had the many previous times. following down a long dark hallway until he entered the dimly lit main room. finding his way to the mahogany bar, seating himself within the comfortable tall stools.
he leaned back, glancing at his good friend kenny who was working diligently cleaning the counter. it was moments before he noticed tripp, grinning wryly. tripp smirked and shook his head. “hey bud, the usual…you know.” kenny nodded and turned to pour him whisky on the rocks.
it was moments before he pressed the rim of the glass to his lips, and allowed the warm burning sensation drain down his esophagus. it was more than plentiful to have his first drink of the day, quenching his thirst. “damn hippie.” tripp suddenly heard a mumble from a man in the far corner of the bar, glaring at him. some people weren’t over this revolution. he smirked and looked around, catching sight of a beautiful blonde. it took him a few moments with his eyes to retrace the familiar face.
he tilted his head slightly, allowing his dark messy locks to drape over his shoulders, gazing. it had been a long while since he had seen jules. a couple years at the most. he could remember back in high school how brash he was about jules. she was beautiful, talented, and one cool chick to be around. he loved showing her off, and pampering her. though they had lasted a while, it ended badly. he could admit now his mistake, and felt guilty for it. it started with him towards the end of their relationship, ditching her for drugs and parties. then the final straw began with him ignoring her.
he wasn’t one to cheat, and he’d never cheated on jules. through their relationship, he now saw how much she cared and how gracious she was towards him. now, he had matured and noticed how it must of hurt her. however, those days were gone.
“hey, jules, it’s been awhile…beautiful.” he couldn’t help but let such a remark slip from his lips, as he scooted a few seats next to her. “i mean, man…i apologize. you look beautiful.”.
