hello, my name is HALE. i am FIFTEEN years young and i consider myself an INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through CAUTION 2.0. so, here's an example of my average post:
It was a windy autumn afternoon and it was cold. He sat there, on the balcony of his home looking down at the neighbourhood he knew and loved so well. He did this, it was his usual routine on every Sunday. He would watch her from across the street. Her, referring to the girl who had his heart. She would be dancing in her backyard, in a dress that showed the complexity of her movements. Ballet as he recalled it. How graceful she was and how the sunlight displayed her untimely beauty. She turned around, knowing that she would find him there and greeted him with a warm smile. She lifted her arm to give a gentle wave and at that moment, something caught her attention. From the distant, Caleid could hear the sound of a car engine firing up and watched her wave at something he couldn’t see. She turned her attention back at him and gave a signal to come over. He was excited though it did not show as much on his face. He turned to look at his room as if to check if the coast is clear. When it was, he placed his book down on the chair he sat on and went closer to the edge of the balcony. He raised his right arm to touch the braches of the tree, searching for the closest and strongest branch. It didn’t take him long for he did this often. Climbing onto the branch, he balanced himself and started to make his way down the tree. One branch at a time. As he walked towards her, he felt calm and warm. That was the love he felt. She was still dancing and he came up from behind her, guiding her arms, leading the dance. Caleid had been to dance classes ever since he knew how to walk. The music helped them to move in harmony and their talents complimented each other.
He felt a tug in his soul when he realized Stori was still sitting in front of him. He just hoped she didn’t notice his sudden fall into trance and his retarded demeanour. Breaking the awkward silence, he decided to ask her about her hectic career. It seemed rather like an interview except that she made it comfortable by asking him a series of questions as well. Something in her just made him feel safe and at home. He couldn’t comprehend it, let alone explain it in words. Occasionally taking a sip of his coffee, his lips would touch the mouth of the cup gently and slowly as if to wait if she had anything to say. "Sorry. Being on tour and performing and stuff is rough. I can never meet many people and finding my dream guy seems impossible. Never know when people like me for me or just my fame," she gave a fake laugh, he could tell. He found her words rather new and he was dumbfounded by them. Coming from a beautiful goddess of arts. He didn’t understand it, she was easy on the eyes, her talents can create wonders and she’s definitely not another dumb girl of the streets who got lucky and dragged into fame. Everytime she said his name to get his attention, he would feel a thump in his chest and his breathing patterns would take a hault. “Why Miss Lennox? I would have thought that a fine lady such as yourself would have a man by her side. They can’t all be jerks, can they?” he questioned when he finally put the words into a sentence. She had the sweetest fake smile on her face and he felt like making it a real smile. Yet considering the fact that she was an actress, facial expressions are nothing compared to what she had to put on for the shows.
He picks up the book that he just bought and flipped it to a random page. As he scanned the page, the first thing his eyes caught sight of was a quote well written. ‘Little did he know that destiny was set right in front of him. A new adventure, the love of his life. Just one step and he’d enter the moment that he has wished for so long,’ Caleid closed the page almost abruptly and placed the book down. A rush of uncertain nervousness ran through his veins. He looked outside the window and noted that time has passed and they needed to go. “Miss Lennox, shouldn’t you be at the theatre now? Getting ready for the show? I could walk with you, if you’d like that or we could just meet up backstage after the show?” those words flew out without second thought and he knew he wanted to see her again.
