------ It had been a whole year since he had proposed to Hayden, and still to this day he kept secrets from her. He loved her more than anything in the world, but his ‘secret’ job was something he could never let her find out about. Of course he knew she had to be somewhat curious with how he always had money. The corner store was never going to pay him well enough for him to take care of her. The story of his family seemed to work, but that would only work until she met his family. Carson’s face held a disgusted look on it as the thoughts of his parents rolled into his mind. His family was the epitome of poor. They had absolutely nothing. His mother was living in a house that her brother was paying for, and the last time he heard his father didn’t have a place to live, and yet Carson knew exactly how to get a hold of both of them. This was the reason he never took Hayden around his parents.
Carson’s eyes moved from the racks of candy that he had been staring at for the past hour to the clock. It was almost time for his shift to end. He couldn’t wait to get to starbucks to see Hayden. He was so in love with her that it wasn’t even funny. He wondered whether that would fade over time or if it would be like this through their entire marriage. If there was even a marriage after she found out about what he was doing. Carson covered his face with his hands, and closed his eyes. Every night he had to worry about her finding out. Someone going up to her, and spilling the beans about him being a drug dealer. Wouldn’t it be easier if he just came out and told her? For him probably, but for their relationship not so much. Right now the only thing he could really do was let it go. Carson uncovered his face, and looked back up at the clock. As soon as the clock read 6 the boy clocked out, and was on his way. Of course he had to tell his boss he was leaving, but that was the easy part. Yelling across the room that he was leaving.
Walking out the door of the corner store Carson took a deep breath, and put on his sun glasses. It was a nice day outside, but he knew that they weren’t going to have many of those days left in the year so he was taking advantage of them. Going out whenever he had a chance. He walked down the road to the nearby starbucks where he had asked Hayden to meet him before he left for work this morning. Since the two of them only had one car Carson was dropped off at work, and let Hayden have the car for the day. What was he going to do with it while he was working? Nothing, and most days that he worked she didn’t their schedules liked to work out that way to where they hardly had anytime together. Finally he made it to starbucks, and walked in the door. Sliding the shades from over his eyes to the top of his head Carson looked around the room. He figured she would be there by now, but he was wrong again. Looking up at the clock to see that it was not fifteen after six Carson decided to just sit and wait. There was no way she was going to stand him up today, right? Working, taking care of Hannah, and trying to see Carson was incredibly difficult. Hayden balanced it with little sanity intact, if it weren't for Jessie agreeing to baby sit a few times when she had off Hayden wouldn't be able to do it all. Waking Hannah from her nap, Hays quickly changed her daughters clothes and double check the diaper bag she still carried around with her for all Hannah's medications. She was running late already but Carson would understand, he always did. Which was something that made her fall even more in love with the man.
"Hannah, come on we have to go see daddy." Hayden calmly spoke to her four year old who was sitting in the floor playing with her barbie dolls. The blond little girl quickly stood up and ran into her mother's arms. "Daddy?" she questioned once in Hayden's arms. Hannah didn't have a clue in the world that Carson wasn't her biological father, to be honest Hayden didn't plan on tell her daughter either. No one in her family questioned her about the fact of the matter either. They all understood, Carson did too.
Locking the door the the house, Hayden carried her daughter to the only car the family owned. Within about two minutes Hannah was securely in the car seat playing with whatever toy she'd left in the car last time Hayden had to take her somewhere. It wasn't far to get to the Starbucks closest to Carson's work, though driving the car was safer if Hannah was going to be with her which is why she drove instead of walked.
A small smile etched onto the twenty-one year old's face as she pulled into the parking lot of the coffee shop. It was six twenty-five but time didn't matter when she got to see her husband. "Hannah we're going to see daddy in seconds," she informed her young daughter. The four year old smiled and became wide eyed. Quickly unbuckling and taking Hannah out of the car, the two entered the shop and looked around for Carson. "Hey Baby," Hayden whispered kissing his cheek once she found him. Hannah simply climbed into his lap hugging him like it was going to be the last time she ever saw him.

It wasn’t long after he got there that he had seen Hayden, and Hannah walk into the starbucks. A smile covered his face as he watched Hayden walk over with Hannah. With a kiss on the cheek, and a small girl sitting in his lap Carson thought that he was possibly the luckiest guy on earth right now. “Hey baby..” Carson moved his gaze from Hayden to Hannah now. He smiled and picked her up kissing her on her nose. “Hey babygirl. Daddy missed you” He sat her back down on his lap and gave a hug. His life was complete with a daughter and a wife. Everything that he had been worried about before was long but forgotten. Everytime he laid his eyes on Hayden he forgot what he was doing, thinking, and sometimes who he was.
Something about Hayden caught his attention when he first met her. Something told him that she was the one. If someone were to watch the two of them they could see the sparkle in Carson’s eye’s when he’s looking at his wife. Yeah, the two of them may only be twenty-one, but he is so in love with Hayden that it’s not even funny. Carson rested his hand on top of Hayden’s on the table top and he looked at her. A small smirk covered his face as he realized that he hadn’t been able to take his eyes off of the girl since she sat down. “You’re everything to me you know that?” Random little comments like that one weren’t uncommon for Carson, but he was sure that one of these days Hayden would get tired of hearing them, so he tried to cut back on them lately.
Shaking his head a bit he looked back down at Hannah and smiled. “What did you two do today while I was at work, hmm?” He knew that since Hayden didn’t work today she would be watching Hannah, and by now she was probably going out of her mind crazy wanting a break, but she was going to get one soon. Unbeknownst to her Carson was planning something for just the two of them. After that he was going to plan something for the three of them, but Hayden and Carson needed a night alone as much as he loved his daughter it was just something every parent needs at some point.
Carson ran his fingers through his hair as he waited for either Hannah or Hayden’s response. He knew that being a kid Hannah might reply to him first with some kind of crazy answer, but it didn’t seem like that lately. Hannah had been more laid back and it worried him a bit, but he didn’t’ express his concerns with his wife as he should, but that was part of the learning process. He didn’t know what it meant to be a husband, and how to actually ‘talk’ about things with her, but he would learn in time. [/blockquote]

Hayden Rose loved her daughter dearly, don't get me wrong. What she didn't love was the fact she constantly had to watch every move Hannah made, what she fed her, how Hannah slept at night and during her naps. It was a job that she hadn't been prepared for. Yet, it was an adjustment she quickly made. The simple words coming from her daughters mouth quickly brought Hayden back to reality. Something about a trip to the moon or something, the twenty-one year old hadn't exactly caught the beginning of what Hannah said.
She left her daughter continue to rambling off crazy stories that Carson knew weren't true. Hannah was famous around the Rose house for telling stories. "I think Hannah summed it all up for you. We've been busy today." Hayden laughed messing with her daughter's hair. "What do you two want while we're here?" Her mind was already set on something chocolate.
(-_- i'm sorry it's short and sucks)
