hello, my name is MADI. i am FIFTEEN years young and i consider myself a(n) INTERMEDIATE roleplayer. i found this site through ADS. so, here's an example of my average post:
Morning classes, Sadie's least favorite class to go to. Considering today was the day of an art auction, which meant her mind wasn't on the current subject in Photoshooting. The class was working with the modeling class today, working on a school photoshoot at Maryfield. Sadie Ward was assigned as the designer, so not much was to be done today since she had already drawn the attire and the sewers had already completed them. So all she had to do was direct the models on how she wanted her clothes shown. Though by the time the class was over, Sadie was well annoyed with the younger students who didn't completely take her direction the way she wanted -- she was still in the mood to go to the auction. Besides, Sadie was looking forward to selling a few paintings, and possibly buying a new drawing for her living room. As soon as the class let out, Sadie left as soon as she could, of course to her luck getting held back by the teacher. The teacher mentioned she had to work on her direction giving skills, and trying not to come off in a bossy manor. Sadie nodded her head with with a fake, but convincing, "i'll try better" look on her face. Though in her head all she was thinking was "Come on, ten minutes until the show..." As the teacher concluded her miniature rant, the art show was starting and Sadie had only gotten to her car.
A few speedy minutes later, Sadie pulled into her parking space at her humble apartment, ran in, grabbed a few sketches and paintings then ran back outside to her running car. Sadie placed the paintings in her passenger seat and began her drive. "Gosh, that bitch made me late." Sadie mumbled to her self as she pulled nearer to a stoplight. However, she slammed the breaks when some man pulled in front of her to try and get passed the yellow light. Sadie had her window rolled down faster than it took him to make the maneuver quickly yelling, "Jackass!" with the infamous finger stuck in the air. Sadie rolled her eyes and stopped at the light, while shooting a nasty scowl at the mans car that was well on his way to wherever he needed to be so importantly. With that sort of mood set for the day already, Sadie wasn't exactly looking forward to the art show. Sure, she might make a couple hundred dollars on some paintings, which is always great since she still has a bunch of debt to pay for college. Yes, she came from a pretty well set off family with money -- but with the relationship she has with her parents wasn't even close to earning her the respect from them to pay for it. Sadie hasn't talked to her parents since her brothers funeral, which was almost two years ago, when Sadie started college at Maryfield. Sadie worked a small job at a coffee shop to help pay for school, but selling art was her first choice for fast money.
The room was fairly quiet with the constant murmurs of the buyers, then the occasional bidder yelling out their price. However, the speaker was mainly all that was heard. Sadie smiled at the faces turning around to look at the late guest, which made her a little nervous, but she carried on walking to the back room to drop off some art pieces. Sadie walked back out and sat in an empty seat, waiting for her paintings to come out, or to see if one caught her eye to buy. For the most part, the show was fairly boring. Though one drawing caught her eye, it was a large painting of a girl. It looked like she was standing on the beach, with the wind tousling her hair. Sadie raised her paddle and yelled out the bidding price, trying to beat out another buyer. Eventually the other bidder stopped, and Sadie smiled as she realized she could buy it. She thought the picture would look amazing above a chair in her living room. Since it was simple, she could add a bold frame and it would compliment her coffee table, which was also simple, with a bold edge around it. Though her living room was small, she liked to add touches of art to make it more interesting -- and this was her newest addition. Sadie hopped up out of her seat and grabbed the ticket which allowed her to go back stage after the show to pick it up.
The show continued on, with her art pieces being shown every once and a while. When some one would buy them, she would half smile and sit a little prouder. To any artist it made them feel great when a picture was admired by another person. The show closed and Sadie Ward walked back stage to grab her picture she bid on. Sadie walked around backstage admiring the pieces of art that didn't get purchased. She thought it was a shame, because they were still beautiful, Sadie glanced back down at her picture, though her train of thought was interrupted by a deep voice. "It's not one of my best, in fact... I thought it was a piece of shit when I first drew it," Sadie glanced up at the voice, revealing a handsome man. "Well, I'm glad you brought it." she replied in her calm, smooth voice. The boy continued on saying "Guess it's not so bad now that I really look at it," with a bright smile Sadie couldn't resist to return. "What're you gonna do with it?" The stranger asked. "Well I was looking for a picture to make my living room a little more entertaining, I guess you're the lucky winner." Sadie answered with a half smile looking up at him. She eyed the stranger, quickly noticing he looked very tired, she figured it was because he was an artist -- most hardly sleep these days. Another thing struck her mind, he looked very troublesome. Like he had a story to tell. Sadie looked down shyly examining the picture again. She then said, "I'm Sadie Ward by the way," She looked up with a grin, "I'm guessing you're... Logan? Y'know.. based on the back of your picture." She giggled and adjusted the picture in her hands. "I had a few pieces in the show too, you know," Sadie looked over to a person holding a portrait of a woman that she drew. Though I'm hardly as good as you are. Do you go to art school?" She asked, guessing that they would be here for a while talking. Sadie didn't mind that, in fact, he seemed to lift her mood from her unhappy one due to her morning.
