It had been a couple days now since he had had any kind of drugs. He had been going through withdrawls from all the pain killers he had been taking. It felt to him like his entire body was hurting. He needed to find something, and he needed to find it now. Landyn was addicted to a lot of things, but his drug addiction was the worst of them all. Pills were his life. Pain killers were his favorite. He could take up to five, and he would be good for the rest of the day. When he took them it was like nothing could hurt him. Landyn ran his fingers through his hair, and scrolled through his phone. So far everyone he had called didn’t have anything. At this point he was so desperate he wanted to just go rob the hospital of all that they had or any kind of drug store. Finally the boy came across the one person who never failed to have everything that he needed. A smile covered his face as he started the call and put the phone up to his ear. It rang three times before someone picked up. He was in his house alone, but his voice was low as if he was trying to hide the illegal activity from someone. “Can you get anything?” Landyn sat there waiting for the guys voice on the other side. His heart was racing. He was so close, and it annoyed him that the guy took so long to answer. “I just need something man. I can’t do anything without them.” Finally a grin appeared on his face as he had the answer that he wanted. “I’ll be by in a bit” Landyn hung up the phone, and grabbed his jacket. It didn’t take him long to walk out the door, and jump into his car.
He had stayed at his dealers house for a couple minutes talking, and visiting. It was his normal routine so nothing looked suspicious. Landyn had a tendency to be a little paranoid every time he went to buy anything. He got back into his car and took the small bag of pills out of his pocket. It was filled to the top with small, white, oval pills. He took a couple out of the bag with shaky hands, and popped them into his mouth. It always took forever for them to kick in, but he didn’t care. They were in his system now, and he’d feel them eventually, but the stress of not having anything was over. Landyn took a deep breath, and leaned his head back against the head rest of his seat. Landyn had no plans for today, and considering it was a Saturday he didn’t really have to go home until Sunday night. He thought for a minute on what he wanted to do, but nothing came to mind. So he sat back up straight and started up the car. He was going to drive around until he thought something. Living alone was very lonely, and boring so he hardly ever stayed at home.
It was only about thirty minutes since he left his dealers house, and he was now passing the corner store. He pulled into the parking lot, and shut the engine off. Landyn stepped out of the car, and walked to the back of the store. There was a small lot behind the store that was surrounded by trees. It was his favorite place to go when he had people to hang out with, but sadly he didn’t have anyone to hang out with today, and he was hoping that there would be someone that he knew there, but he couldn’t have gotten so lucky. Landyn shrugged, and sat down by one of the trees. His head was starting to spin from the pills, and the next step was his whole body going numb. That was his favorite part because when it happened he felt like he could do just about anything. Some people would say that his life was boring, but Landyn knew that it was far from boring. All those people were just missing out on the feeling of feeling good, but that was their choice.
The sound of someone walking through the leaves that had fallen off the trees made the boy jump. He twisted his head around left and right trying to see if he could see someone, but he couldn’t see anyone anywhere. So he jumped up and walked behind the largest tree he could find. It never occurred to him that he wasn’t exactly smoking anything, and didn’t have any reason to hide, but he knew what he had done, and he felt like everyone else knew it too. His breathing got heavier, and his heart started beating harder. He didn’t know who was coming, but whoever it was he didn’t want them there. He should have just went home where he knew that he would be safe, but he didn’t and now he was hiding from someone. “You’re so damn stupid Landyn” The words came out in a whisper, and he closed his eyes waiting for something to happen.

Fall had to be one of Vivienne's favorite seasons. It wasn't freezing, most of the time, and it wasn't sticky hot. The leaves were falling and becoming crisp, and she just loved the sound of crunching leaves beneath her feet. Bottle of beer in hand, she stumbled out of her friends front door, waving a good bye as she made her way slowly down the street and to her car. She went to pull open the door but quickly realized she had locked the keys inside. She groaned a little and slid down the side of her car and just sat there for a while until her bottle was half empty and she decided she had better things to do.
Standing up she wandered up the street and across the road until she spotted the corner store. Vivienne looked from her bottle to the store and back to her bottle before she took a swig of it and began to walk around the back of it. She had never really noticed the lot surrounded by trees before... or had she? Well, it didn't matter because she was drunk enough that she probably wasn't going to remember much by the time she woke up, unless she managed to sober up quickly. That was highly doubtful though.
Viv walked until she reached the spot where most of the fallen leaves had landed. she kicked off her shoes and stomped on them, listening to the crunch with a smile on her face. She was running back and forth across them when she heard someone else step on a few leaves. "Helloooooo!" She called out, slowing to a walk toward the sound. She raised her bottle to her lips and drank another slip of her beer a mischievious grin slowly easing her way onto her features. "I know someone's here! I'm gonna find ya, I'm gonna getcha getcha getcha..." She started singing in a low voice. The idea of frightening someone was amusing to her, as mean as it might have sounded.
She wandered around for a good three minutes or so before she finally saw someone hiding behind a tree. She ran up to the boy with a smirk on her face, yelling, "BOO! Hah, I found you! Told you I would. I win!" And then as she stood face to face with him she looked him over one and then sat on the ground. "waaaaant someeee?" She asked, holding out the bottle and shaking it a little. Then she looked up at the sky and arched an eyebrow. "Hey, is it just me or does that cloud look like a catapillar eating a fish with cowboy boots?" And she flopped onto her back pointing at the cloud.
