for lack of a better name, let's call him chris. he's somewhere between twenty-eight and thirty-two years old and is currently working as an architect (or something else, if you so choose.) his personality is pretty much up to you, but i personally imagine him to be charming but a bit of a stubborn ass at times. his family history is also entirely up to you, but what is needed is his involvement in a certain plot. the play-by must be either ben affleck, ryan reynolds or penn badgley. in order of which i'd prefer: ben, penn, ryan. xD
harlow golightly was born and raised in manhattan, new york city. she's a twin and lived a rather charmed life. despite this, she was always rather unhappy with where she was. she hated her mother, and although, they were rather close, she was overshadowed by her twin sister. harlow had gotten herself into a fairly rebellious stage all throughout her teenage years. she, however, was always the one to act out when it came to her rebellion. sure, her sister also did some stupid things, but harlow was always the one to take everything to the extreme. around the age of seventeen was when she met chris. he was in manhattan for a short period of time, a mere vacation or business trip and he was quite a few years older than harlow. she found him intriguing and the two hit it off. when it came time for him to leave, she practically begged him to take her with him. she had already dropped out of school and filed for emancipation from her controlling mother. it took a little persuading, but he agreed and the two skipped town, back to boston where he was from. they weren't even really a couple at first. they were simply friends, someone to get her out of the hell hole called manhattan.
after living together for a couple months, the two became romantically involved. she was eighteen by this point, so don't worry, it was all legal xD he was spending time at college while harlow worked as waitress during the days. it was a drastic change from her old lifestyle, as she had been cut-off from all the family money, but she didn't mind all that much. it did, however, get her mixed up in the wrong crowd. it wasn't so bad at first. in fact, it wasn't bad at all until after annabelle. shortly after turning twenty-one, harlow gave birth to a baby girl named annabelle brynne golightly. (yes, chris is the babydaddy.) it was after she was born that the problems got worse. harlow had always had issues with depression, but she slowly fell heavy into post-partum depression. spending the evenings working as a bartender wasn't helping the issues either. she turned to alcohol and even started abusing painkillers after awhile. it was taken to the extreme. harlow and chris were fighting nearly every day, she was blacking out and forgetting things. chris was pushed to the edge and one day, became fed up with the problem. he couldn't take it anymore, so he broke it off. harlow had tried to convince him to stay, but he wouldn't. he tried to take annabelle, but she refused and eventually wouldn't even let him come near her. essentially, he left with a "get some help" and called her twin sister brynne to come fix the situation and take care of annabelle since harlow had pushed him away.
once her twin sister arrived in boston, harlow finally agreed to get help. (well, she was more forced by brynne, but whatever.) brynne took care of annabelle and essentially forced her sister into rehab. harlow spent the past six months there getting help and has just recently been released. brynne took care of annabelle, and without her sister knowing, allowed chris to see his daughter whenever he wanted. now that harlow's been released, she's trying to fix things with everyone. she's still got her issues and may end up getting back into some old patterns, but she's trying her best to change.
so basically, chris's character is there for the drama. harlow loves him, but hates him at the same time for leaving her. she wants to fix things but will probably fail quite a bit along the way. i'd like for the two to be finals, but it all depends on who plays the character and how the character's chemistry is. the only requirements for the roleplayer is that they must be willing to both thread and ic, i must either know you or you should submit a roleplaying sample and it would be better if you had msn or aim, but that's not a must. so if you're interested, please post here.
